Join us at the Tanglewood Holiday Inn for an evening celebrating the life of Scotland's most famous poet, the incomparable Robert Burns. Choose from Beef Bordelaise, Baked Lemon Dill Salmon, or Broccoli Penne Alfredo. A haggis will be addressed and served with tatties and neeps, toasts given, the Immortal Memory presented by renowned Burns scholar Les Strachan, and much more! Music by the Appalachian Piping Academy, Star City Ceili Band, and Kinnfolk. The Floyd Historical Dancers will perform a reel and a strathspey before teaching simple Scottish Country Dances to any who will join. Feel free to bring items for the silent auction benefiting Roanoke Habitat for Humanity. In addition to Bruichladdich Classic Laddie single malt whisky on every table, there will be a cash bar. Attire is Highland formal or black tie.
